Trail Talk™

A natural space to support creativity, socialization and mindfulness.

A guided outdoor social experience for teen + tween girls — led by an SLP & Outdoor Therapist.

Four-Week Program

$30/week

Ages 12+

Date: TBD

Trail Talk™ is a guided outdoor program that takes girls off their screens and onto the trail — where real growth happens.

In a world that moves fast and demands constant connection online, Trail Talk™ creates intentional space for something different. Through mild hikes in the York County / Shapleigh area, girls will slow down, connect with nature, and connect with each other.

This is not a fitness program and it is not therapy. It is a community — built around presence, self-expression, creativity, and the kind of honest conversation that happens when you are moving through the woods together.

Building skills that go beyond the trail.

  • Mindfulness & Presence

Learning to slow down, tune into the senses, and connect to the present moment — on the trail and in everyday life.

  • Self-Advocacy & Expression

Finding their voice, naming emotions, and building the confidence to speak up for themselves in a safe, supportive group.

  • Girls on Trail Making Nature Discovery

    Confidence & Problem Solving

Hands-on group challenges on the trail build resilience, teamwork, and the quiet pride that comes from doing something hard.

  • Togetherness & Friendship

Real connection with peers in a low-pressure setting — the kind that only happens when phones are put away and you are side by side on a trail.

FAQs

Who is Trail Talk for?

Trail Talk™ is open to girls ages 12 and up. No prior hiking experience needed, and no formal diagnosis required. This program is for any girl who could use more connection, more confidence, and a little more time away from a screen.

Do we need hiking experience?

Not at all!

Hikes are mild and designed to be accessible for all experience levels. The focus is on the experience together, not the mileage.

Where exactly will we hike?

We hike in the York County / Shapleigh area on accessible, mild trails. Specific locations are shared with registered families after sign-up closes.
